Cookie Policy

What cookies we use and how to control them

This Cookie Policy explains how Alpha Training & Consulting (“we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on www.asqcsqp.com. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They are widely used to make sites work properly, remember preferences, and provide information to site owners. We also use localStorage, a browser-based storage mechanism, to remember your cookie consent choices without setting an additional cookie.

2. Cookies We Use

The table below lists every cookie and storage item currently active on this Website. We do not use Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight, or any other advertising or social-media tracking technologies.

Essential (always active)

Analytics (requires consent)

Marketing (disclosed but not currently active)

We disclose this category for transparency. No marketing or advertising cookies are currently deployed on this Website. Should we deploy them in the future, this Policy will be updated and your consent will be sought before any marketing cookies are placed.

3. Google Consent Mode v2

We have implemented Google Consent Mode v2, which means:

  • Default state: denied. When you first visit the Website, analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data, and ad_personalization are all set to denied. No analytics cookies are placed and no identifiable data is sent to Google.
  • On consent grant. If you click “Accept All” or enable Analytics in the preferences panel, the consent state is updated to granted and a page-view event is fired. Google Analytics then begins collecting data for that session.
  • Cookieless modeling. Even when denied, Google may use anonymous, non-cookie signals for aggregate modeling in accordance with its own terms. These signals cannot identify you.
  • Consent is remembered. Your choice is stored in localStorage under the key cookie_prefs and applied automatically on future visits without showing the banner again.

4. How to Manage or Withdraw Consent

You have several options to control cookies:

Option A — Cookie Preferences Panel

Use the (also accessible from the footer “Manage Cookie Preferences” link) to toggle analytics on or off. Your choice takes effect immediately and is saved for future visits.

Option B — Clear localStorage

To reset your consent choice so the banner appears again on your next visit:

  1. Open your browser’s Developer Tools (usually F12 or Cmd+Option+I).
  2. Go to the Application (Chrome/Edge) or Storage (Firefox) tab.
  3. Expand Local Storage and select https://www.asqcsqp.com.
  4. Delete the entry named cookie_prefs.
  5. Reload the page — the consent banner will appear again.

Option C — Browser Settings

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their privacy or security settings. Note that blocking all cookies may affect the functionality of some websites. Refer to your browser’s help documentation:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data

Option D — Google Analytics Opt-Out Add-On

You can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to prevent your data from being used by Google Analytics across all websites.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date.
